Delete your account
You can delete your Social Capital account and everything in it at any time.
How to request deletion
- Email [email protected] from the email address you use to sign in to Social Capital.
- Use the subject line “Delete my account”.
- We’ll confirm we’ve received it, and confirm again once your account is deleted.
We delete your account within 30 days of your request. If we need to check the request really comes from you, we’ll reply to the email address on your account.
What gets deleted
- your account and profile
- every conversation you captured, including notes, voice memos and transcripts
- the people, promises and reminders you created
What we may keep
- copies in routine backups, until they’re overwritten on their normal cycle
- anything we’re legally required to keep, and only for as long as the law requires
- anonymous, aggregated statistics that can’t identify you
Deletion is permanent. If you’d like a copy of your data first, say so in your email and we’ll send it before we delete anything.
You can also delete individual conversations and people inside the app at any time, without closing your account.
